This Half Day walking tour will introduce you to Dante and his Divine Comedy; the guide will focus on Botticelli’s painting entitled Inferno and will include an in-depth description of the connection this has with Dante and the history of the Divine Comedy.
You will focus on the Medieval part of Florence, with its tower houses, narrow streets, dark mysteries.
The tour will then include the visit to the Baptistery, the Paradise Gates and the Duomo of Florence (if accessible) where you will be enlightened with knowledge of the symbols and codes as described in the book.
The highlight of the tour will be at Palazzo Vecchio, Town hall of Florence where faith and science join together with breathless revelations. This will lead the way through the beautiful “Salone dei 500” and the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio.

Then, begin your ascent to Florence Heaven: the staircase climb, through narrow and openair corridors that have been closed to the public for centuries, will be rewarded by an incomparable view of the city from the Duomo Terraces, on the cathedral rooftop. A sky walk that will feel like floating between the city landscape, with its ancient roofs and towers, and the imposing Dome standing just a few meters above your head.
